ACV Hair Rinse

$24.00

ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) is great for a clarifying hair rinse. It helps to remove product buildup on the hair and scalp. Buildup can clog the follicles, leading to scalp conditions such as dandruff and hair loss. ACV is lightweight and does not weigh down hair like many other conditioners, so it makes it a great addition to hair care routines to improve volume and curl definition.

ACV has antimicrobial properties that can help with an itchy or irritated scalp and the natural acidity of ACV helps smooth down the hair cuticles which helps reduce frizz and decrease knots and tangles. The smoother the hair cuticle, the more light is reflected leading to shinier hair. ACV is antimicrobial and can help with an itchy or irritated scalp. It stimulates circulation to the scalp, leading to healthier skin and better hair growth.

We infuse organic ACV with a myriad of organic and wild-harvested plants to add even more benefits to our hair rinse.

• Horsetail is very high in naturally occurring silica which helps to strengthen hair to prevent breakage, and it reduces shedding. Horsetail can increase hair volume and body and provide shine and luster.

• Nettles are high in minerals, which are easily extracted in vinegar, giving this hair rinse a big dose of minerals to add health to your scalp and hair. Nettles stimulate the scalp and reduces hair loss and shedding, resulting in hair that is thicker, shinier, and softer. Nettles also help to reduce dandruff and provide conditioning to the hair.

• Rosemary has long been used to help stimulate new hair growth and encourages long, healthy hair. Rosemary is antibacterial and can help to relieve itching and irritation of the scalp.

• Burdock root strengthens hair follicles, promotes hair growth, and has a mucilage content that naturally detangles hair and adds slip.

• Peppermint offers several benefits for hair and scalp health, including promoting hair growth, combating scalp conditions like dandruff and itching, and increasing blood flow to the scalp. It provides a cooling and refreshing sensation and can help balance scalp oil production.

• Lavender has anti-inflammatory properties that may help with hair loss, shedding, and irritated scalp conditions. Its ability to balance oil production makes it a great hair care herb for all hair types.

•Marshmallow root is rich in mucilage, a gel-like substance that imparts natural slip, making hair easier to detangle and manage. Additionally, marshmallow root can help soothe scalp irritation and inflammation, making it beneficial for those with sensitive or dry scalps. It’s very moisturizing to the scalp and hair.

• Cinnamon promotes improved circulation helping to stimulate blood flow to the scalp and promote hair growth, can reduce dandruff and scalp infections, and is anti-inflammatory and soothing to irritated scalp conditions. Cinnamon is antioxidant which can help protect hair follicles from damage.

• Bull kelp is a nutrient-rich seaweed that offers several benefits for hair and scalp health, primarily through its abundance of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Kelp contains minerals like zinc and selenium, which contribute to the structural integrity of hair, making it stronger and less prone to breakage. Bull kelp can help regulate sebum production in the scalp, reducing dandruff and irritation, and can moisturize and hydrate the scalp, which can be beneficial for dry or irritated scalp conditions.

• Chamomile can help restore shine to dull-looking hair and the soothing and calming properties of chamomile can help alleviate sensitivity and discomfort on the scalp. Chamomile can help reintroduce moisture and shine, reducing frizz and brittleness in the hair.

To use an ACV hair rinse, it is imperative you dilute it. This bottle is a concentrate of the ACV and plant extracts, and you’ll want to dilute it at approximately 1-2 Tabelspoons of ACV hair rinse in 8 ounces of water. A spray bottle or squeeze bottle work well for diluting and dispensing the hair rinse in the shower. After shampooing, pour or spray the ACV hair rinse through hair, massaging into scalp and finger combing through hair. You can let it sit for a few minutes and rinse out, or you can leave it in like a leave-in conditioner.

We offer two options for our ACV hair rinse with different essential oil blends, which have their own added benefits.
