Fraser Fir Hydrosol

Hydrosols, or floral waters, are the aromatic product of the steam distillation process. When a fresh plant is steam distilled, hydrosol and essential oil are the two final products, separated after distillation. Hydrosols are pure botanical waters with distinct characteristics and benefits, and can be applied directly to the skin unlike their essential oil counterparts.

Distilled in-house in our copper still, this Fraser fir hydrosol smells like an evergreen forest after fresh rainfall. Fir hydrosol is a natural astringent, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory that is well suited for oily and acne prone skin types. Fir is a circulatory stimulant and can help with deep tissue pain and swelling by increasing blood flow to the area. Evergreen scents encourage deep breathing and are well suited for meditation.
